2022 Core Banking System Upgrade FAQs

To provide our clients with the most up-to-date technology and banking services and to maximize operational efficiencies, our core banking system was successfully updated during the weekend of March 25th.

Naturally, our clients will have questions and we want to do our best to provide answers. In addition to our normal client support methods via phone, email, and in-person, we’ve created this page to help answer questions and provide important information related to these system updates.

The most important information we want to ensure all our clients are aware of are:

  • Online and Mobile Banking – The first time you log in after the system update, you may be prompted to re-authenticate your identity via text message or phone call by logging in through the bank’s website. You will continue to use the same username and password you use today.
  • The date our clients receive their monthly statements may change. All account holders will get their regular statements through March 24th. Everyone will get a statement on March 25th. Going forward, month-end statements will be sent for all deposit accounts. There are no changes to the loan notices or line of credit statements.
Here are some answers to additional questions you may have.
Please note: We will add information to this page as it becomes available, so please check back often.

While we do not anticipate any disruption to our debit card network during the conversion weekend, our debit card limits will be using the offline limits which will be as follows: ATM - $505; Point of Sale purchases - $2,500 per day. Balance inquiries at the ATM will also be unavailable during this time.

We planned the conversion over a weekend to minimize the impact to our clients, while offering complete access to your funds. However, please carry an alternative form of payment during conversion weekend in case River City Bank experiences an unplanned disruption of service. From 4pm on Friday, March 25th through 8am on Monday, March 28th, our debit card limits will be using the offline limits which will be as follows: ATM - $505; Point of Sale purchases - $2,500 per day.
